Using Brimsley
Brimsley helps households organize shared plans, chores, shopping, meals, calendars, and related follow-through. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Accounts and eligibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
- You must be able to enter a binding agreement or have permission from a parent or guardian.
- You may not share your account in a way that bypasses household roles or access controls.
- You must tell us if you believe your account or household workspace has been accessed without permission.
Household content
You and the people in your household are responsible for the information added to Brimsley, including family workspace names, member profiles, chores, lists, meals, calendar events, notes, email forwarding content, and integration settings.
- Only add content you have the right to share with the intended household members.
- Use Brimsley visibility controls thoughtfully when content is sensitive.
- Do not use Brimsley to store illegal content, harass others, or violate another person's privacy.
Invitations and household access
Family workspace owners and admins decide who may join a household workspace and what role they receive. If you invite someone, you are responsible for sending the invitation to the intended person.
Connected services
Brimsley may let you connect external services such as email or calendar providers. You are responsible for the accounts you connect and for following the third-party provider's rules.
- You can disconnect supported integrations when you no longer want Brimsley to use them.
- Brimsley is not responsible for third-party provider outages, errors, or policy changes.
- Forwarded or imported information should be reviewed before you rely on it for important decisions.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse Brimsley or interfere with the service.
- Do not attempt to access another household workspace without permission.
- Do not reverse engineer, overload, scrape, or attack the service.
- Do not use Brimsley for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive activity.
Service changes and availability
Brimsley may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. We aim to keep the service useful and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Ending access
You may stop using Brimsley at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, create security risk, or create legal risk for the service or other users.
Important disclaimers
Brimsley is provided as a household planning tool. It is not a medical, legal, financial, emergency, childcare, or safety-monitoring service, and it should not be used as the only source for time-sensitive or safety-critical decisions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the product, law, or operating model changes. If a material change affects your use of Brimsley, we may ask you to accept the updated version before continuing.
