- Household workspace information such as family names, member profiles, roles, invitations, chores, schedules, shopping lists, meal plans, calendar events, and visibility settings.
- Connected-service information such as email forwarding configuration, imported household messages, calendar connection metadata, and encrypted calendar credentials when you enable integrations.
- Feedback and support information you choose to send.
- Technical information such as IP address, user agent, device/browser details, cookies, security events, and basic usage logs.
How we use information
We use information to operate, secure, maintain, and improve Brimsley.
- Create and verify accounts, authenticate sessions, and protect against abuse.
- Show household plans to the right account or family workspace members.
- Send account security, verification, invitation, and service-related messages.
- Support connected features such as email forwarding and calendar sync.

How information is shared
Brimsley shares information only as needed to provide the service, follow user-controlled visibility rules, or meet legal and security obligations.

Children and household members
Brimsley is intended for parents, guardians, and household organizers. It is not directed to children under 13, and children should not create accounts unless a parent or guardian has authorized the use of Brimsley.
Your choices
You can update account and household information in the app where controls are available.
- You can unsubscribe from non-essential product emails while still receiving required account, verification, invitation, and security messages.
- You can disconnect supported integrations when you no longer want Brimsley to use them.
- You can request access, correction, export, or deletion by emailing privacy@brimsleyhome.com.
Retention
Brimsley keeps information for as long as needed to provide the service, protect accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain audit records such as legal acceptance history.
Security
Brimsley uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect account and household information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so you should use a strong password and protect access to your email account.
